Sinner Magazine will foster an appreciation and awareness for the unsung Las Vegas local talent, dreamers, movers and culture through unique, cutting-edge editorial, style and approach; staying true to the topical matters that effect our community and how we view and live it. This magazine is for the real Las Vegan.
Sinner Magazine will be a fresh take on New Vegas, and will exude some rock n’ roll style. Each section in the magazine will be divided into the Seven Deadly Sins. Greed will be about business and politics. Lust will be about sex and relationships. Pride will be about fashion and style. Envy will deal with celebrity, and the movers and shakers in Sin City. Sloth will be about relaxation and leisure. Gluttony will focus on food and restaurants, and wrath will be the newstype section that will deal with local irritations around Las Vegas.
We recognized the demand for the publication we were trying to put together. Sure, there were other mags in town which served their purpose. But for the most part, there wasn’t a local magazine out there that we were excited to dive into. It seemed that the content of all these magazines were about life on The Strip. And contrary to what people may think outside of the 702, that’s not real life. We are not poppin’ bottles on the red carpet every night while a DJ is on the ones and twos. I’m not saying that we haven’t done it. I’m saying that is one tiny piece of the lifestyle here.
After doing all the research on other pubs in town, we decided that we want to become your supplier. Give you the fix of culture out here that you may or may not know about. The fact is Las Vegas is a rather young city. Many of you aren’t from here, and those of you who are natives know Vegas isn’t what the media has portrayed it to be. This is the entertainment capital of the world, and we live amongst a very artistic and creative community. In some cities culture smacks you in the face as soon as you open your door. In this city, you have to go out and find it. It’s out there, and sometimes you may have to step outside your comfort zone to find it. So this is our promise to you. We declare that the culture is here to stay. We are defining it as we live it. Every face has a story about what brought them to the desert. We are not here to judge. This is a city for dreamers and a place for fresh starts. Embrace it. Sin City is home. Rep your city and take pride in what makes living here uniquely different than anywhere else in the world.
